We are hiring!
IFSA Geneva is looking to hire ambitious students from all faculties. The qualities that we value in our members the most are commitment, initiative, and professionalism. The recruitment process is mostly centred around assessing personal characteristics and motivation, rather than technical knowledge in the finance domain. We would love to see people who know to use their competitive advantage and who are aware of their own weaknesses, but above all we appreciate people with great sense of humour!
Our Recruitment Process
Online application
Once you’ve decided that IFSA is a right fit for you, fill in your application form. Answer the question honestly and submit your up-to-date Resume (in French or English).
Applications close on Thursday the 29th of February, 2024.
Personal interview
After the first selection, it’s time for the personal interviews. We will get in touch with you to schedule yours. The interview usually lasts 15 to 20 minutes, You will be introduced to our board members and asked motivational questions. What we will be looking at: whether your personal values and interests align with IFSA’s core values and objectives, whether you are open to new experiences and networking.
It is ok to be nervous, we will try to make you feel at ease!
Group interview
Saturday the 2nd of March, 2024 at 10 am
Book the day !
Candidates who have successfully completed their individual interviews will be invited to the last stage of the process: group interviews. You will be asked to complete a small creative task in a group with other candidates. What we will be looking at: your ability to collaborate with other participants in a respectful manner, and your ability to convey your thoughts and ideas in an effective way. You will know our final decision regarding your candidature on this day.
Trial period
This is more of a formality than anything else. Once you’ve successfully completed all of the application process, you’ll be welcome into our association as a Junior Member.
What we are looking for in a CV:
- What you can offer to our association
- A structured and concise description of your academic and practical experience (job experience is obviously not mandatory)
- Interests and aspirations
- Contact information
